November 2009 The Best of Israel PDF Print E-mail

Our last trip of December '08/January '09 was a great success!!! We never saw any of the trouble displayed on TV about the Gaza Strip. We had a very meaningful and peaceful tour! We are planning another very similar to this tour for November 2nd-13th. This trip is limited to the first thirty that register. Get in touch with the Lion of Judah Ministry office ASAP if interested (615-591-8036).  Gary Fisher

November 2nd - 13th, 2009

Come and Let Us Go Up to the Mountain of the House of the Lord.

There is nothing like visiting the Land of Israel! It is a mystical wonder! It is the only place in the world that has so much Biblical history. Think of standing in the same valley where David slew Goliath. Think of standing on the Mt. of Olives from where Jesus ascended to Heaven and to where He will return. Visit the place where Jesus headquartered His ministry, Capernaum. Visit the site where Peter said "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God". Admire the beauty of the Mt. of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered the "Sermon on the Mount", or the beauty of the Lake of Galilee while we ride across on a large boat.. Encounter the awesome view of the Valley of Armageddon. See the rugged terrain of the Judean Wilderness, where John the Baptist preached. A visit to the Garden Tomb will change your life! These features and many more that we see on our tours make Israel the most unique place on earth to visit for any Christian.

Micah 4:2 says, "come and let us go up to the mountain of the house of the Lord". Micah declares that one day, all the nations of the world will desire to go up to the “Mountain of the Lord” where Jesus, Himself, will teach the world about His ways. As we go, we go in faith believing that one day, probably very soon, Jesus will come to establish Jerusalem as His throne and fulfill this Scripture and the many others like it.

This trip will be but a preview. Oh what a day that is going to be!

We are careful to call our tour a “pilgrimage”, because it is not a vacation, it is a visit to God’s land to see the ways that the land is being restored. (Don't get me wrong, we are not going to "rough it". We will stay in four and five star hotels that serve awesome breakfast and supper buffets and we will ride in a very nice air-conditioned bus throughout the trip.) There are many Bible prophecies that call for the restoration of the land and its people. As we move through the land, we will see this restoration and sense that God is about to do something very awesome there! (Ezekiel 36:22)

It is my hope and prayer that this tour will be one of the most meaningful and spiritually enriching experiences of your life. Come and go with us on this awesome, adventurous, life-changing trip. Come and let us go up!

This Itinerary is Subject to Changes in Sequence of Days, Local Conditions, and Preferences of the Tour Leader.

A Friendly Note: On our trips to Israel, we stay in four and five-star hotels where we encounter the best foods and great accommodations! We travel each day in a nicely furnished, air-conditioned tour bus. We have three meals per day (many tours are priced for two meals per day). Also, the price quoted is the final price that includes all taxes, and tips. (Most quote a base price, then add taxes, tip, etc. from there). The price is based on 15 or more passengers. Other than these exceptions, the only other expense not included is a voluntary love offering we will collect for the guide and bus driver on our final day of touring that we will present to them at our banquet the night before we depart Israel. By compromising on some things, one can go on a cheaper trip to Israel, but not a better one!

Another Note: All of our tours not only encounter the Israel of the past, but we emphasize the prophecies that are currently being fulfilled and observe many of them in progress. However, the main emphasis of our tour is  the Israel of the future and what is about to take place there. It will be the headquarters of the greatest government the world has ever known (Isaiah 9:6) as the Messiah (Jesus) will return to Jerusalem and assume His intended position as King of King and Lord of Lords. Our tours are a preview and an anticipation of that soon great day.

One final point: Our trips to Israel bless in two ways. Even though our group enjoys the great accomodations and a great trip, the money that we spend in Israel stays in Israel and winds up being a blessing to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

There are so many going that the airlines are selling the seats 100 days before departure. Those interested need to contact the Lion of Judah office as soon as possible
